    Great view, but the service interrupted what could have been a nice meal. Had to wait too long for my lunch last week and the restaurant was not busy. Left without finishing my meal. Maybe next time on my visit to Sidney I'll give it another try.

    I don't usually write reviews but today (June 12/17) was something worth reviewing. From start to finish the staff has been nothing but accommodating. I wanted to watch the NBA finals. Without asking they put the game on for me front and centre. Hooked me up with a speaker to hear all the action. My drinks were never shy from full and cold. The salt spring mussels were absolutely awesome. The patio has a great view and the waitresses keep you company. I will definitely be returning and I really hope to see everyone again. Thanks Rum Runner and keep up the great work.

    Special shout out to Kyle for keeping the drinks cold and the conversation great.

    Crab crepe had a heavy sauce which was barely warm. Seafood chowder however was very tasty. Highly recommend the ginger spice cake.

    A taco and a burrito ARE NOT the same thing. It needs to be removed out of the menu and a salad should not have an IKEA theme, you can't just bring the lettuce for me to chop and mix on the table, that's your job and what I am paying for. The fish and chips used to be the best in town but eventually they became whatever they are today. The food is still ok though but the service needs to improve, even on slow days the waitresses rather keep chatting with each other than service the customers. If I have to get up to request my bill because you were too busy catching up with your colleagues then you are not doing it right.
