  My mind of place! The whimsical decor and friendly staff were a nice surprise. When we ordered a two piece to share with half salad half fries the cook was gracious and presented the order by plating two plates. The fresh salad had beetroot watercress carrots et with balsamic vinegar. Everything looked beautiful on the plate and tasted scrumptious. Best chips I've had in a long time. Will definitely visit again.

  Whenever in Sidney I will often stop here for a lunch or dinner. Sometimes crowded but rarely a long wait. Always a friendly staff. Food is above average for simple street fare.

  Excellent Halibut lime wrap. Great atmosphere in a small cafe. You can not go wrong with eating here.

  I've only had the halibut and chips but. Multiple times. I've never been disappointed in the food or service. The patio is great on sunny days!

  We had kalamari for starters and it was good especially the dip, perfectly garlicky with dill. We enjoyed the Trivial Pursuit cards that are on each table. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. My aunt had the fish and chips (upgraded to yam fries which she said were delicious) and said it was terrific and she would come here over and over. I should have stuck with fish and chips myself since it's what they specialize in but I had the burger. It tasted like a frozen patty and the salad that came with it had dried out. I will definitely go back but I'll stick with fish and chips.
